Class is officially in session! We’re kicking off our new After the Bell series — where local teachers trade in their red pens for pizza cutters and grade our monthly specials.
For our first episode, we welcomed Ms.Neuhaus, a 5th-grade teacher at Timber Ridge Elementary in Johnston. It’s her first year in the classroom, but she brought serious grading energy (and plenty of humor) while sampling all five of our October pizza specials.

Comments: "I love the crunch of the bacon, the chicken is tender, I love the strong drizzle – so good."
Grade: A+++
Comments: “I feel like my students would love this, ” she said. “They would think it was so silly if they saw spaghetti on pizza. They’d probably give it an A+++ — or maybe a 67%" (if you know, you know).
Grade: B+
Comments: Spicy, bold, and full of flavor. “If you like buffalo, this is the pizza for you,” said Mrs. Neuhaus. A solid B+ that packs a little heat!

Comments: "They've definitely got it down. The spice of the sweet chili, the crunch of the wonton, so good."
Grade: B
Comments: A festive fall surprise! “If you’re looking for a pizza that’s not just cheese or pepperoni, try this — it’s super good,” she said.
The votes are in — and Mrs. Neuhaus’s top pick for October is the Crab Rangoon Pizza!!
